Just because the kids are back in school and you're back at work full tilt doesn't mean the fun has to stop!

 

Festivals are great weekend entertainment. Sometimes creepy (Bugfest at the Museum of Life and Science) but never sleepy (the N.C. State Fair!), these autumn extravaganzas have something for everyone.

 

From Raleigh to Durham and places in between, here's a glance at what's up.
