Let's Make a Skate!

Looking for an alternative to the clichéd candlelit dinner on Valentine's Day?

Try these date ideas for a fun and active afternoon with your significant other or a great group of friends.
  • Whether you love to ice skate or you've never tried it before, it's the perfect winter activity! Enjoy time with the people you love on the ice. Rinks are located in Raleigh, Cary and Hillsborough.
  • One of the great things about living in the Triangle is that we can enjoy nature at the edge of our cities. Umstead State Park, in Raleigh, provides trails throughout a 5,439-acre park. Get away from it all and take a walk with someone special.
  • Stay true to the chocolatey traditions of Valentine's Day. Grab a cup of hot cocoa in downtown Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill. Explore a part of the Triangle that you haven't visited much and you may discover a new place to love!
