Walk for the Animals
Saturday, May 18
Duke University's East Campus, Durham
www.apsofdurham.org

Every year, the Animal Protection Society of Durham cares for nearly 7,000 creatures who are homeless, abandoned, neglected or abused. The APS provides the basic necessities, such as food, water, medicine and shelter.

But it's more than a shelter. The APS is a voice for the wild things in its care today...and tomorrow.

Last year, more than 1,000 people with their dogs participated in the Walk for the Animals and raised nearly $80,000! Join in this year as everybody works together again to raise $100,000 to help homeless critters in Durham.
